Before buying an instrument, please consider the

My primary responsibility to you is to teach your
child to play music. This task is impossible unless the instrument I
sell you is of the highest quality. This obligation distinguishes my
service from the mail order companies and retailers that sell bargain
instruments. Their obligation to you comes to an end when they receive
their money.
There are many brands of instruments available to you.
Certain products should be avoided at any price. They are made in
foreign countries, made with poor workmanship, use cheap materials and
will often not last the duration of your child's education. These
instruments are found in mail order catalogues, discount stores, and
well-known chain music stores.
As an educator and technician, I along with the vast majority of other
